Detoxifying Lemon Ginger Drink

New year means new resolutions and many of our resolutions are mainly food related as losing weight, eating healthier food, cleaning our bodies (detoxifying) so far.

I believe that ‘having a balanced diet is the key to stay healthy’. That does not mean we cannot eat what we like, the key is to eat everything but in moderation. Start your day with body detoxifying lemon ginger drink. A simple, yet much powerful drink will help to get rid of toxins and boost the immune system. Lemon is an excellent source of Vitamin C and has antioxidant and anti-cancer properties. Whereas ginger has anti-inflammatory properties and gives a boost to immune system. This detox drink takes only a few minutes to prepare and can be enjoyed throughout the day.

Sometimes I drink it warm, sometimes I prefer filling a couple of mason jars or a jug with water and ginger to keep in the refrigerator overnight and drink it chilled next morning. So lets go in details.
