Jhal muri is a tempting and popular Indian street food, typically made from puffed rice that is mixed with a variety of ingredients to create a savory and spicy snack.

2 cup Puffed rice (muri) 3 tbsp Peanut (roasted) ¼ cup Chana dal (roasted) ¼ cup Sev ( thin / thik) 3 tbsp Cucumber (finely chopped) 3 tbsp Tomato (finely chopped) 3 tbsp Onion (finely chopped) 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped) 1-2 no. Green chili (finely chopped) ½ tsp Chaat Masala ½ tsp Cumin-Red chili powder (roasted) Salt as needed 1 tbsp Mustard oil
In a mixing bowl, take puffed rice.
Then add rest other ingredients one by one.
Now toss everything together by hand until the flavors are evenly distributed.
Serve immediately the savory, and spicy Jhal Muri as a snack or a light meal !
If the puffed rice is not crisp, then just keep it in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute.
One can add some boiled black chickpeas, and finely chopped boiled potatoes.
Adjust spiciness if desired.
